GLOV Beauty

GLOV Beauty disrupted the skincare industry with a seemingly impossible claim: erasing heavy makeup using nothing but water and their patented microfibers. While the product was highly innovative and eco-friendly, scaling the brand presented a unique challenge.

The storefront was treating the flagship glove as a one-off purchase rather than the foundation of a complete skincare routine. This led to a plateau in Average Order Value (AOV). The founders needed a management team to step in and re-architect the store—shifting the digital experience from purely transactional to highly educational, while seamlessly upselling complementary products like hair wraps and serums. We took over the end-to-end technical operations, turning their Shopify store into an automated growth engine.

Educational "How It Works" UX

We integrated high-speed, looping micro-videos and step-by-step GIF visualizers directly into the product page hero sections. This visually proved the "water-only" claim instantly, melting away buyer skepticism without slowing down site speed.

Dynamic "Routine" Bundling

We replaced standard checkout flows with an interactive "Build Your Routine" upselling block. When a user added the makeup remover, the UI seamlessly recommended pairing it with a GLOV hair wrap and reusable makeup pads for a percentage discount, driving up AOV.

Eco-Luxury Brand Redesign

We elevated the visual architecture. We integrated clean typography, "Cruelty-Free" & "Reusable" trust badges right near the Add-to-Cart buttons, and designed a custom sustainability landing page to build deep brand loyalty.
